Can cat’s clean mini-blinds?

Lets get into it…an age-old question asked by all the great scholars….”Can a cat clean the mini-blinds?”

No.

But there is more to this subject more to be learned about the skill set of the common house-fluff and its unique skills.

For instance cats can do many things to Venitian blinds, they can scratch them, sniff them, spray them, bite them rub up against them and rip them…but clean them?   No.

They can climb a mini-blind, especially the cellular kind and roman-shades or sun-shades, and may even lick the blind…but clean..no.

In fact cats generally make blinds dirty in a sense, their fur settles on the horizontal slats, the oil on their skin and hair darkens the leading edge of the blind where they lean and they do tend to bite the blinds for some reason, maybe because they can see the outdoors but cant get out and something has to help relieve their angst.

Young cats are the reason for many blind-damage incidents as they fly about the living room like monkeys crashing into the windows and walls.

Many strings are tangled and knotted and torn by cats, many adjustor-rods are scarred, shredded and mangled by these furry beasts.

No blind has even been cleaned or repaired by a cat though.

Have we made our point? If you need your blinds cleaned…dont call your cat.
